I think I'm going to buy a new phone soon because I just need a better quality camera for things like this... the video is also zoomed in so I kind of have an excuse for the bad quality but my phone is still old and I just need a new one 😅🙈
I've been thinking of the Google pixel 6, it's supposed to have this absolutely amazing camera with several built in lenses even! That would make it so much easier to film all these videos for you guys! I already have a few new ideas for my "Noa does random shit naked"-series ☀️

@juliagoma just visited me and for the occasion I figured I should share one of the most awesome sets we ever created together! Duo self-portraits from an aerial view with red and blue lights... We were always great at flowing in these abstract poses together that then emitted this very strong atmosphere in the photos

Noa on a mission
I was trying to make this line from all these rocks to then use it for a selfportrait concept I had in mind. It's good that my boyfriend took these images of me constructing it. Because in the end right as I finished building this people arrived to our little secluded beach, and set up all their thing straight in front of my rock line.
We remained naked anyway, as we always are on the beaches around here but I didnt feel entirely free to be posing by myself in front of this new audience.
selfportraiture is always very intimate to me and somehow it always feels very vulnerable to be taking my pictures while theres people there in real life, watching me. I dont feel quite as free to try out whatever strange poses I have in my mind.
So yeah that's how it goes sometimes... I think these images turned out quite beautiful nonetheless

A few days ago I showed you some color polaroids I shot that didnt work out how I wished, but the black and white polaroids I shot that day came out beautifully with a strong contrast and rich deep blacks. I have to scan them properly soon so that I can show you them even better but I am very pleased with them already

I shot a few new polaroids. The color ones once again didnt work properly, I dont know why. I still think they are beautiful up close, although they dont have the wow effect I had seen in the moment and wished for, because they just lack the depth and contrast...
I sell all my polaroids and when something like this happen I usually put the price of them down... I still really love them but it's just not the same as if they had worked out properly

I just went for a jog (which is something I never do, but I'm trying to be more healthy and exercise more regularly) and then I took a cold shower and I feel so good right now! I feel really alive and like I am physically powered out but mentally theres more peace and sharpness
Although to be honest all I want now is to lie naked on my bed with the fan on full blast and sipping some cold water

Who wants to see more rolls, skin textures and body hair? Aka things that are part of me as a real person...
From today's session in the bathtub.
My body hair is ever changing depending on where I am and what I am doing. Sometimes I just let it be free and dont even think about it at all. I embrace it and feel no shame for it.
Then other times I feel good about cutting and trimming it and I like the freedom of changing it and going with my internal and external flow...
When I have a lot of shoots I try to generalize and stick to shaven armpits and a "neater" look, although I feel wrong for using that word, since I dont think letting your hair grow freely means that you are not neat or taking care of yourself. It's your natural state after all.
What are your thoughts on this? I certainly know that people can feel very strongly about this at times...

I'm a bit sleepy today but I wanted to share a little with you of my selfportrait session today ☀️
I took some pictures on film but in the end I did bring in my digital camera, because I wasn't entirely sure if what I was capturing was working out, how I wanted it to and I didnt want to be wasting film like that.
It did made me realize it's been so long since I last took digital selfportraits...
With the digital camera I took a lot of very close up pictures trying to create folds and rolls in my body on purpose to have abstract shapes of skin and water... it's always a good self reflection practice ;) pun intended
I will edit them tonight probably and will show you them soon. I always think I should make more little vlogs like this and then share them together with the actual final images. Does that seem interesting to you as well?
Someone also recently told me they really enjoy seeing me talk in videos so I'm trying to also bring more of my thought process and in general more of my personality into this

last year I had so much fun doing underwater shootings!! Unfortunately somehow my little camera stopped working without any obvious reason, just as it was about to get warm enough again to start shooting underwater :( I really miss this activity and my favorite other photographer that I do underwater shoots with isn't here this summer... Big bummer :(
