It's National Woman's Day. I'm depressed today so I have nothing inspirational to say. I hate Holidays, birthdays , National whatever days. They always just feel like a obligation to feel, be, or do something special. I don't like that. Humans are weird. I wish I lived in a world where it didn't matter to keep track of time, days, weeks, months. I just want to exist without societies social norms. And I also want my own island where I can be naked all the time and swim in the ocean. And I want a dolphin 🐬 friend who visits me on my island. That is all.

Pup update! They weren't reacting well to the formula we had originally started with, so they went through a 24h Pedialyte cleanse. Straight Fox Valley formula seemed to give them hard stools, and adding Esbilac vace them soft stools or diarrhea! Very finicky GIs, hard to find that perfect mixture! After a few days of trying to get the mixture perfected it was found! 50:50 Fox Valley and Ultraboost (supplement). A few of them even passed stool on their own! Things are looking great for them, and one is even opening their eyes! I'm glad they were in such great care when I went out of town. It was very nice to get a break from feeding a litter of babies every two hours! Thanks for all your support!

I took this picture Nov 9th 2021. 🦊 I love that Emmie Fox made a appearance in the second photo. She's one of my favorite foxes and was the best friends to have inside, but once she hit maturity she started marking on everything so she stays outside now 😅 I will make a video about this with more details. I've been raising 4 African species pups from day 1 the last 6 days. Feeding them every 2 hours. Everything from tube feeding, stimulating them to go to the bathroom, SQ fluids, and enemas. Exhausted is a understandment. They sometimes have taken me three hours in one sitting to care for. Newborns are so delicate and one wrong move I could kill them. I'm stressed and sleep deprived. But today I am going on my first actually vacation in years. So they have just left to go to one of my wildlife rehabber friends until I get back. Please give me some good inspiration to take hot photos while I'm away in the tropics, because I've had a extremely difficult week. To top it off my primary animal care employee happened to be on vacation 😫 So my sincere apologies for not ever having time to get to my DMs. Please understand how busy I am but I promise I will try. If you would like to see more of these guys please comment.

Ethan bought me these beautiful animals a couple years ago. I haven't shared much of them anywhere else because it's nice having animals without worrying about the pressure to make videos of them. I get to actually enjoy every moment with them. Anyways, I'm telling you this because today is a special day! They had their first litter of pups that I am bottle raising. I am overjoyed! I will eventually share them publicly. I can't wait to show everyone their habitat enclosure in Florida. But I thought you guys should be the first to see them!

Super sad to break the news our wild Sanctuary squirrel Liv died. I raised Liv from a baby, but she lived wild and free. We made many accommodations for her to safely travel and eat here without having to enter any of the fox yards. Except her favorite thing to do was taunt the foxes. She LOVED getting super close to them and then jumping where they can't reach her. And she had out smarted them for years...so I suppose she was to confident. Because in the end a fox won. It was a quick death...she did not suffer. But a very sad day for us all.
