I would definitely recommend renting a car when visiting here! There’s so much to see and do all around the island- but the busses take hours to get to either side.

One of only two green sand beaches in the world! If you’re on the big island this is a MUST see! The off-roading to get here is pretty intense, we took a Jeep to make the journey. You can walk- it’s a few miles but absolutely worth the walk if you don’t have to car to drive it.

You’ll have to park your kayak and then walk a short distance into the actual spring. And there’s a rope swing!! Be sure to tie your kayak up- and the water level rises and falls.

Isn’t this just gorgeous!? This is in the middle of winter too! Three Sisters Springs, in Krystal River, Florida!! My favorite place I’ve ever kayaked. You can kayak to amazing little hidden springs here! They also have under water tunnels/caves you can swim through!

Some more of the Devil’s Den in Florida! The water is colder than you expect! It’s located in a small town so there’s not much to do outside of this, and there’s no bigger towns near. But definitely still a place you should go! The BBQ place in town is good, and one of the only restaurants, haha!
