Ditched To Do list and Ambition for a day and spent the whole day playing in the park, because springtime! In Winter! I just got back in and gave myself a hot bath, because I stayed outside a little too long, dressed a little too light, which is one of my favorite sensations ever since I can remember: getting chilly from enjoying outdoorsy things too much! Pushing it. Almost asking for that cold, because fuckit - Life! Not wanting moments to stop because of something as lame and mundane as temperature. Makes me feel alive.

Today I went for my first real snow run! It has been snowing..

Today I went for my first real snow run! It has been snowing uncommonly much in Berlin. We don’t usually get more than a few days of whatever-snow. This thin, silly off-white nothingness that doesn’t even make it to the ground. But this time it has been snowing non-stop and properly for days now. Real powder. It’s glorious! Everything is muffled and calm and somehow more peaceful. People with sleds everywhere. Long, slow walks in ski outfits. The thick neverending white sprinkles a dash of magic onto this grey rather ugly city and dips it into an almost country-side-ish peacful quiet. Running in this weather was special. (I just love weather) It was cold (duh), even icy. But so beautiful. When I got home my face was so frozen (which I love) and I had to take a long steamy hot shower to melt. Just perfect.

This pic was taken at The Standart, Highline Hotel in NYC. For those who don’t know: The Highline has these incredible floor-to-ceiling windows (if you book the Hudson suite they wrap all around) and they openly face the popular Highline walkway on one side. Extremely sexy. During my very first New York visit years ago I would be a tourist on that walkway looking up to the hotel thinking „...how I‘d love to get fucked against one of these windows one day...“ Little did I know I would soon become very very familiar with them.
