Good news. Fan favourite Kate has CONFIRMED she will be attending the clinic with the dentalfetduo in mid December! 😍 a lovely little Christmas present for you all. 🎅

I know a lot of you have been begging to see her laid back in a real dental chair. Or to see her in full PPE pulling the exam light over Amy’s mouth to begin a long treatment.

All I know is you guys are in for a treat. 😏

Depending on the severity of the procedure you will be under..

Depending on the severity of the procedure you will be undergoing, you will see Amy dressed in one of the two outfits. For simple dental works like exams and fillings you’ll see Amy dressed in outfit one. Scrubs, mask and gloves. For anything more serious like extractions or root canals she would wear outfit two. Tie mask, surgical gown with surgical cap, and some longer cuffed surgical gloves.

Amy has also decided she wants to shoot more content in surgical gear. So expect more of Amy in surgical attire at our trip to the clinic next weekend.

Our newest mouth prop is the denhart mouth gag. When we bought it, it didn’t have any rubber stoppers and it was uncomfortable (and slippy) against the teeth when it was open wide. I slipped on some rubber end caps and now it’s comfortable for the patient and allows the dentist to open it as wide as is needed without it slipping.

I’m excited to see it used on some new patients.

Amy has a new cavity too on her lower left wisdom tooth that I just found. The explorer sticks in it real good. I’ll show more of this on new footage at the clinic.

Good news. As many of you guys have been asking, (and rightly so) we are in talks with fan favourite Kate to bring her to the clinic sometime in December for a full day of filming with us. I know you guys are desperate to see Kate in the actual dentists chair!

This is not confirmed yet but it’s something we are working on to bring you the best content we can.

We will keep yous informed on any updates or progress on the situation.

This was amazing to see. Someone who has never put on a pair of gloves and picked up a dental mirror to look at their friends mouth and teeth. Not only to do it, but to watch them enjoy it and find it genuinely interesting. Dental is so unique and it’s great seeing people enjoy it. Can’t wait to get these two together again for more content.

All is ok but She is definitely due a deep scale and polish. Luckily for her I’ve recently purchased an ultrasonic scaler. So she’s due some time in the chair when we get back.

We will also be visiting the clinic again soon so keep your eyes peeled when we post a new date for that.
