Part 1, I'm Your New Neighbor Moving to a new city is never easy, especially when you're moving far away from your old life. People say that moving won't solve your problems…I'm here to say *bullshit.* I packed everything I could carry into my dinky old Volvo and was out of town before my family even woke up. By 9am my phone started ringing but I didn't answer, and I haven't since. It's quiet on the way down and I let you off first as we head to the laundry room together. The washers I go to are on the other side of a wall. Your phone pings and you scramble for it, opening it and checking my most recent post. You almost groan out loud. Maybe I can show it to you sometime.” Your eyes widen a little when I ask. “It’ll have to wait though, I’m still unpacking.” The elevator dings and I step out, turning to give you another smile. “I’ll see you around,” I say as the doors close.
