πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ πŸ’’ The Difference Between the US and the EU sex industry πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ πŸ’’

I decided to write a longer post comparing the sex industry in the US and the EU, so here we go:

1) The size of the whole industry – In the US, sex work is only fully legal in one state, Nevada, where brothels are legal. In Europe, there are several countries where it is legal. It is estimated that in Germany alone, there are around 3,000 legal establishments. In Amsterdam, for example, an entire part of the city is dedicated to such businesses, and they are very common in city centers. In the US, brothels must be far from city centers; for example, the nearest club to Las Vegas is about an hour's drive away and they are literally in the middle of nowhere. From what I know, I would say that the size of the US sex work agencies, independent workers, and outdoor sex work is roughly the same as in the EU, but what varies hugely are the clubs/brothels.

2) Price – The price in the US is far more expensive (about 10 times more, for example) in the clubs than in the EU clubs. Girls in well-known German cities like Frankfurt (which is basically one big red-light district:) ) sell basic services for as little as $40. Don't think that only the least attractive girls charge this price – most girls in this industry in Europe are from Eastern Europe and are some of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Some are truly 10/10, model-like types, and still, their services cost around $50. Also, it is far more common for the girls to have about 20 customers per day, whereas in the US, given the price of the service, the girls don't need to have as many customers to make money.

3) The normality – Here in the EU, it is quite normal to use these types of services. First of all, the brothels are part of the city and are visible. Second, the price is not astronomical, so everybody can afford it. Given the more hedonistic approach towards sexuality here in the EU, it is not a big deal to visit these clubs. Guys often go there after sports events to hang out, have a drink, and chill out. It is more "normal" than "exclusive" like in the US.
