I’ve been married to my husband for eight years, and everything in our relationship has been amazing—except for one thing. Over time, I started noticing that he was way more interested in my feet than in the rest of me. At first, it was flattering. He would massage my feet, buy me expensive heels, and even paint my toenails for me. But then I realized that whenever things got intimate, his focus was always on my feet rather than my face or body.
It started to bother me when he began asking me to wear socks in bed or pose my feet a certain way during sex. I felt like I was just a pair of legs to him rather than his wife. I love that he finds me attractive, but sometimes I wish he would look me in the eyes more than he stares at my feet. I don’t know if I should talk to him about it or just accept that this is his preference.
