I’ve been married for five years, and I’ve always had a thing for feet. It’s not something I talk about openly, but it’s definitely a part of what I find attractive. My wife never really paid much attention to her feet, so I never brought it up. I figured as long as I kept it to myself, it wouldn’t be an issue.
One evening, she borrowed my laptop to check something while I was in the shower. When I came back, I knew something was off. She was quiet, avoiding eye contact, and then she just asked, “Why is your search history full of foot videos?” My stomach dropped. I tried to laugh it off, saying it was just curiosity, but she wasn’t convinced. She wanted to know why I never told her and if this was something I secretly wanted from her.
Since then, she’s been making playful jokes about it, but I can’t tell if she’s actually okay with it or if she thinks it’s weird. Part of me wants to explain that it’s just a preference, nothing more, but I’m scared she’ll see me differently. I don’t want her to think I was hiding something big—I just never thought it mattered this much.
