I booked the cheapest room in this hotel and when checking in, they said “we upgraded you to two beds with an island view” which means no ocean view. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. But by golly, they did not just mean two beds, they meant two BEDROOMS. There are three toilets for the two of us, a full chef’s kitchen and ya, you CAN actually see the ocean just a bit 😉 this is the best room I’ve ever stayed in. Perhaps I’ll film a tour later and upload it for free. I never want to leave. I’ve stayed in many places around the world, but this has to be the best accommodations I’ve ever experienced. It’s so big and because I stay in a shyt ton of Marriott hotels -I’m an ambassador, the highest tier- they really hooked me up with complimentary treats and things. Amenities don’t live up to all inclusive resorts, nevertheless, this is still the best suite I’ve ever stayed in. Here’s a little snippet of me on my corner balcony freely enjoying the island breeze with zero worries. So many trees to reassure me that no one else can see. Fun fact, I learned that on this island, there was a mayor who declared no newly constructed buildings can be taller than a coconut tree.
