I never thought I’d see the world from such heights—both literally and figuratively. Switzerland. A new city. A new life. Everything here seems beautiful, yet unfamiliar: the smiles of strangers, morning coffee in cafés, even the air—it smells different.
I’ve always been strong. Life in Ukraine taught me to take hits and still find light in the darkest places. But now, everything is different. I’m starting from zero, alone in a foreign country where every day feels like stepping onto thin ice.
But you know what’s surprising? It gives me strength. Strength to rediscover myself. Strength to shine even brighter. Strength to remain that Alla—the woman who never gives up.
I always said: if you want to see the stars shine the brightest, look at them on the darkest night. It seems this night has come. But trust me, those stars will shine so brilliantly, you’ll want to gaze at them forever.
