Meanwhile, my friend looked like sheād been dropped into an ice marathon. "Itās freezing," she said, "I want to go home. Youāre ruining me!" She was throwing sarcasm at me so sharp I almost needed a shield. But I thought, "Weāll warm up on the way!" Spoiler: instead, we got lost. š¤¦āāļø
Luckily, we found a campsite! They had cell service, tea, and sandwichesāit was practically a luxury resort. My friend sat there sipping tea in her red jacket, but she was turning blue anyway.
