I notice some of you subscribe with the idea that we are going to be friends, or in a relationship, or having some relationship irl. Some vent to me about very traumatic things like I’m your therapist. And then I’m stuck trying to figure out how to respond to such a DM. Paying $7 does not buy any type of relationship. Also that was never offered in the subscription. My friendship is not up for sale, At Any Price.
I make it perfectly clear on my all social medias that this is my job. I come here to work and then log off for the day. I think some of you have a really crazy parasocial relationship with me which makes y’all act a little weird and creepy in a way you wouldn’t normally act irl around ppl. I don’t make irl friends with people off the internet anymore, and haven’t in almost two years. So yeah :/
Please think about what you’re sending me before sending it. Some of you act very dependent, obsessive and a bit delusional in my DMs sometimes and I’m here to break that delusion for you. This is my job.
