I woke up in my studio this morning and turned on some Justin Bieber & Billie Eilish to kick off the day. They aren't my favorite artists BUT this song is hard to hear and NOT move. I feel stiff when I wake up. Moving is difficult. This is always a sign that I need to be doing more yoga. When I'm doing yoga everyday it's easy to hop out of bed and get straight into dancing through life. But lately, I've been enjoying being deep in my mind and emotions, taking photos, going on dates, eating dinner on the rooftop and generally avoiding pushing myself physical or spending large chunks of yoga time. What really helps is playing music RIGHT AWAY. The moment I wake up, the music goes on and it helps encourage me to start moving, even just a little bit. It lifts the mood and I'm a human animals so it doesn't take much for me to want to start dancing.
