I need this time alone in my own little world to stay centered, to breathe in my own energy and cultivate joy. 🌸 I filmed myself finishing up this new rainbow abstract sunset painting and I edited the video footage on the plane into this video for YouTube. I’ve started sharing more about my painting techniques which feels funny because I still don’t feel like I “know what I’m doing”. As far as I’m concerned, I’m fucking around with paint, as random and wild as can be. 🌈 it’s dawning on me now though that over the past 5ish years of creating I have actually acquired some skills that are shareable. It feels beautiful in my body to enjoy painting with so much playful energy, to persevere the purity of it as playtime, to pour a cup of tea for my perfectionist parts and invite them to chill on the couch while my sensual free spirited parts are allowed to express themselves. ✌🏼
