Added 2023-04-12 04:48:01 +0000 UTCI’m writing … pour me a flat white or a cute matcha .. or both … and leave me be for hours. I begin by filling three pages in my journal. Everyday. Three pages. Stream of thought. Random ideas mix with observations mix with bubbling emotions. Open the tap and let the words start to flow out. Once the handwriting is complete I switch to my phone to type the stories in a more poetic voice. The book is appearing on the phone screen in tiny black letters. I write stories in 1,000 - 2,500 word batches. Then like a Russian doll, I select the boldest sentences and extrapolate, diving deeper into the layers inside layers. How much more detail is buried inside my mind? Unpack it. 😊 writing and writing all throughout the days. 💕
