I've been writing a book for a couple months and making music this year, resting away from the canvas. I miss having paint on my skin. Walking around town with colors smeared on my thighs and pigment beneath my nails, it's a little badge of artist honor for the whole world to appreciate. I'm a walking rainbow. I miss the colors. My heart looks forward to the day when I pick up the brushes again.
