Tattoo tour (until I get more):
The rose is for my mother. She said for a while now that the only tattoo she ever wanted to get was a rose but she's never gotten it so I got it for her.
The wolf is because Lost Girl is one of my favorite TV shows and my favorite character on the show is Dyson. He happens to be a werewolf. I love full moons and now I've got one on me wherever I go!
Next up is my Grandfather's memorial tattoo. He was a kidney doctor for most of his life and his favorite phrase was "Show me the data". He was Swiss German so I got it in Swiss German.
The fort is for one of my best friends who named me FORT in college. It's a long story that I'm more than happy to share if anyone's interested.
The Valknut on my chest is for honoring fallen warriors. It's also part of my Norse heritage.
My ankh/Thor's hammer combine Norse and Egyptian mythology. I love the old gods and what they stand for.
Anubis is the Egyptian god of the underworld and when I was growing up my grandmother was an art docent who taught me all about Egyptian mythology. I like to think that my life is a series of positive and negative decisions. Anubis not only reminds me of my grandma, but reminds me to make as many positive choices as I can.
The Galaxy behind my entire set of chest pieces is because I just truly love space. Astronomy is amazing and the thought that every time we look into the night sky we're looking back in time is fascinating.
