No scars on my heart from bridges I burned.
No nights spent in shadows, no paths gone astray,
No moments of doubt where I lost my own way.
If I was perfect, I'd never have known
The strength that comes when you're shattered and grown.
The courage it takes to rise from the fall,
To stand when the world feels too heavy, too tall.
But I’m far from flawless I've stumbled, I've wept,
I've made choices in darkness I wish I had kept.
Yet those very mistakes, the ones that cut deep,
They woke up my soul from a long, restless sleep.
Perfection is hollow, it offers no fight,
No battles to wage, no wrongs to make right.
But in my imperfection, I’ve learned how to soar,
To rebuild what I broke and come back wanting more.
