Added 2023-05-28 15:05:38 +0000 UTCdear diary... holy crap life has been busy lately 🤯 I think the last time I wrote in you, I mentioned wanting to get out of the UK ✈️ so here's an update on that... a couple months ago, Josh and I were sat together, complaining about England (as usual). about how we hate the weather, the food, and the cost of living. then suddenly we thought... 'hang on, why are we even here?'. and that unlocked something in our minds. I think after lockdown, we got a little too comfortable and kind of forgot the rest of the world existed. but when we realised that we're not actually tied down to the UK... everything changed. we started researching places abroad. and now... well, we're leaving the country to start a new life in Cyprus in just a couple of weeks 😅 I'm SO excited. we visited Cyprus a few weeks ago for the first time. we stayed for 9 days and absolutely fell in love with it. it's beautiful, the weather is great, AND the best part... there are more cats on the island than humans 🥹🥹🥹 (that's the main reason I'm moving there 😜) but yeah, moving countries is a busy ass process. fuck knows how we're managing it. to be totally honest, I'm kind of just winging it. I'm sure it'll work itself out 🤷🏼♀️ we've just signed a rental agreement for 12 months & have our flights booked for the 7th of June 😬 I can't wait to start taking pics & vids in our new place!! it'll be hot & sunny all the time, which is SO much more inspiring than gloomy old England. also... we're going to be only around 20 mins away from Ayia Napa, which'll be perfect for Tinder-ing 😏 the next few weeks are going to be crazy. I still need to sell a bunch of furniture, say goodbye to people, film content, and pack everything up. so wish me luck with that (I hate packing 😩) anyway, today's my last real "chill" day before the chaos starts. so I'm going to sit back now and enjoy a G&T 😎 the next time I do an update, it might be from 1,900 miles away! 🥳✨✈️
