Added 2020-06-20 14:10:20 +0000 UTCI injured my should pretty badly a few months back, when I was doing some new acro yoga moves π€ΈββοΈ and it's taken a long time to heal again. It's not entirely pain free still, but it's already so much better than it was π So today I tried for the first time again, to do a handstand! As you can see I kind of suck at handstands (I was only just starting to learn how to do one before I injured my shoulder) but I was able to do it without my shoulder flaring up in pain, which is such an immense improvement! π I am going to start doing one or two of these a day again and very very slowly and extra carefully build up strength again... πͺ I've missed moving my body without restrictions... What most of you probably don't know is that I come from an ashtanga yoga background. My mother is a teacher and I grew up doing it and this was the first time in my life I wasn't able to practice that at all.
