A self portrait session from yesterday... It's been a reall..
Added 2020-08-25 05:06:58 +0000 UTCA self portrait session from yesterday... It's been a really long time since I took self portraits last. Maybe almost two months or so... I didn't feel very creative in them for a while, feeling unsatisfied and bored with the results. They weren't interesting enough to me and I wanted to push myself harder and further, but I didn't know how or in what direction. I felt so creative, when photographing others, that I shifted my focus more onto that for a while, but not to do self portraits for so long was nagging on me. The thought was in the back of my mind all the time. For me, when I'm photographing myself alone, something happens… I've tried to describe it in words many times and I don't think I am ever able to do justice to the feelings and the atmosphere, that comes about, when I'm alone with my camera. But I do think, that you can see it in the images! I think if you take the time to look at one of them… To really look deeply with an open heart, I think many feelings could arise in yourself which could be insightful. I aspire to look at everything in my life in that way… When you see beauty, you become beauty ☀
