Still getting to grips with the new technology. ***FYI*** "001 - My 1st ever HD video" from 2005 📹😲 (3 Videos, 2005, 2x 1080p stabilized & 4k upscaled) This is the last remastering test I'm gonna run by you. It boggles my mind that we're literally at a point where we can ADD information to old footage to get it from blurry old HD to actual UHD. One problem back in the day was image stabilization. Cameras just didn't handle hand-held camera shake well at all. It was either tripod or motion sickness. Since last week we can blow up shaky footage to 4k, then let a motion stabilizer crop in and re-render stable 1080p footage. Clip #1 (Smooth Cam) allows you to actually SEE the process in action. Clip #2 (Inertia Cam) hides the black bars by cropping/zooming in and enlarging the source. Clip #3 is the remastered 4k version of the original in all its shaky glory. 🤢 Personally I kinda like 'Smooth Cam' even though it has black frames surrounding the image. Weirdly soothing to watch the computer do its fabulous magic. It really is mind-blowing Ai technology and the closest thing to actual time travel I've ever experienced.
