As soon as you leave the Airport on the street, the heat hits you in the face as if you had entered a Russian bathhouse and after 10 minutes you already all wet. Yes sounds not so beautiful buuuuut the streets smell of flowers, fruits and as yet unknown Asian food. There are so many new smells that you don’t have time to distinguish them all. The surrounding area is green and beautiful. We tried to hitchhike from Phuket airport to Patong beach, but after 2 hours of failure we thought that hitchhiking doesn’t work in Thailand and took a bus, which took us straight to the hotel. Of course, what caught our eye (probably already known to everyone from photos on the Internet) were the crazy tangled wires on the street. We were also disappointed by the Russian inscriptions all around restaurants and tourist places, since we went abroad to feel like we were in another country, and not at home again. But overall everything is just fine!
