This is a fiber cable that connects internet to the island. This is the 2nd one that’s been ripped out by a truck in … three weeks? This is a major problem with this power company in my state, I see dangerously low lines all the time. I have even called about one in front of my old house but if it’s not actively laying on the street, they don’t care. And then stuff like this happens. I can hopefully get photos up with my phone but videos aren’t possible. Satellite isn’t a possibility for where I am due to tree density, average rain fall, unpredictable speeds and the fact you can’t really upload videos using it in my location. 😭
