Some mom stuff for your Thursday evening. Swipe right. Pic 10 is my stern mom look😅 (but pic 5 is the one you'll all say is your favorite😆) Wanna know a funny data analytics story? So, my firm was analyzing the data for a financial services company to see if they could better understand what led to happiness in retirement, so they could better serve their customers. The dataset was decades of surveys that the Social Security Administration had polled Americans on, it was everything over their lives and careers (voluntarily submitted by asking), like "what time do you leave for work?" and "how much TV do you watch?" and "how long is your commute?" and most importantly "how happy are you?" Our job was to see if there were any statistical correlations between one's life, and how happy they ended up. What did we find? Many things, but one of the funniest was that one ended up most unhappy in life IF one's spouse was over weight AND one did not have a high education level. BUT it was only if those two happened together. If one's spouse was overweight but education was medium or high, they ended up happy. If one's spouse was normal weight and education was low, they were happy. (...this led the company to institute continuing education and fitness programs for their customers, btw. That's how the data was used to improve the product, even though it has nothing to do with financial services)
