Added 2024-04-24 21:02:24 +0000 UTCSome hump day pics for you. Just got out of my mtg. It was very good, and I was made aware of a little known law that would forbid one of my product offerings, the biggest one. I’m like😩. Even others in the mtg in that very industry did not know that.
But no big deal, just extra work. America is set up to earn money. I’ll just have to establish a separate holding company to conduct that business and then have some kind of parent company corporate structure or something and ensure all the laws are followed. This happens all the time - like, say, an investment bank that sells securities but also financially advises you - they can’t be “advising” you to buy only their products as that’s not legit.
But as it is, banks do both of these actions, they’re just in different silos. So I’ll need to get with some attorneys to sort that.
