I'm tempted to start setting venture capital mtgs now, with firms I don't have a relationship with, but the tradeoff is since they don't know me, they'll be more pointed in their questions and grilling. And on the other side, not all my suppliers are 100% confirmed so I could get a question "and they're ready to go to market now?" and I'd have to give an honest answer and they could say "ok come back later when you're 100% ready", but that won't happen because the one-shot first impression was sorta blown
On the other hand, they could be like me and say "that's ok. We know how it is. What's your go-to-market plan", and on we go.
