Today was organizing some venture capital mtgs for next week. I was arguing with one of the attorneys putting together my Series raise, that "maybe it's not ready", and I'm telling him I've seen companies raise millions with WAY less than I got! He admitted that's true.
And then I happened to mention I had closed a deal with the NFL and he lost his mind "Wow! You did?? Put that in your pitch deck!"
I'm like "helllllooooo!!! Of course I did. I can tell good stories, truthful narratives, and compelling visions! Now get out there and set some VC mtgs for me and PASS ME THE BALL. I got this. The NFL is NO DIFFERENT that pitching to your VC bros! Just...trust me. Ok?"
