I also just finished week one of six for learning how to make prosthetics from scratch. My custom prosthetic I'll be designing for the course will be silicone instead of foam latex, so I had to do the more difficult version of "life casting" my model's face. Today alone the cast had an additional 8 layers of silicone, burlap, and Ultracal 30 to set.
