Added 2023-07-08 20:13:29 +0000 UTCHey loves! I have some sad news :( my horse I’ve had since I was little is hurt very badly due to fireworks being shot off right over my pasture 2 nights in a row. The 1st night they were galloping around in a panic and I begged the neighbors to stop as it was life threatening. Then they decided to shoot them off again the next night with no regard for my safety or my horses, they were rearing and pulling back hurting themselves more and it was my worst nightmare. The last video shows the condition she was in 24-48 hours after the incident (when horses are limping it’s usually VERY bad as they are prey animals and deliberately try not to show any pain). Thankfully, some of you have seen this on IG and have helped cover the $1k medical bill just to have the vet & chiro out to diagnose her. I am praying she will not need surgery or isn’t crippled for life at her older age. Either way, we’re looking at a big vet bill because of this. I am so heartbroken over the utter lack of respect for her life, from someone who claimed they cared about me & my animals. If you’ve read this far and would like to support me & my sweet old girl, I am putting up this campaign and every penny will go directly into getting her better! The vet will be out on Monday or Tuesday and she is on strict stall rest with heavy pain meds & LOTS of kisses and treats 🥺💕 it’s not even really about the money, it’s about getting my baby healed.
