I really donโt think that number is important at a certain stage in your fitness journey. Is it still a great way to keep track of weight loss? Yes! If I had to lose 30 lbs of fat, I would be weighing myself and measuring my body fat percentage to keep track. The reason I donโt step on the scale has more to do with maintaining a healthy relationship with your body. Muscle weighs more than fat. If Iโm trying to build muscle, the scale will tell me that Iโm gaining weightโฆ not the same type of weight as fat but it doesnโt know the difference. I never let that number dictate my life and my happiness. If I feel good, thatโs all that matters!
