But I somehow got strep throat 😣 Its been a weird experience because I haven’t had this since BEFORE I had my tonsillectomy when I was like 11. My only symptom is that my throat really hurts, so much so that I can’t eat or drink, but zero other symptoms! No fever, no cough, no nothing. I had forgotten strep was even a thing 😅 To be honest I have no idea how I got it since I don’t go out or go to gatherings, I always wear a mask if I’m not inside my apartment, and I only have two people in my social circle (and both of them feel perfectly fine). Being immunocompromised is rough- my immune system is so weak and every time I catch something it makes my chronic pain even more hurty and burny than usual 😭 Sorry to vent, I’m just in lots of pain :( Anyways, I’m still glad it’s not covid and that I’ve managed to not catch it yet! And the good news is that I’m getting antibiotics for my throat today and I’ll be feeling better in a day or two probably!
