The patella (kneecap) is normally located in a groove called the trochlear groove, found at the end of the femur. The term luxating means out of place or dislocated. Therefore, a luxating patella is a kneecap that 'pops out' or moves out of its normal location.) Her sister Luna has the same condition but only in one. She will most likely need surgery when she is 1 on both her back legs. For now I am keeping her safe and calm so she doesn’t run around and injure herself. I will do anything and everything in my power to make this surgery possible and have her grow old with me, I promised bree I would take good care of her and I will stick to my promise of that. The cost of this surgery is roughly 3000/4000 per knee. This surgery will most likely need to take place within the next 6 months.
