She was a badass!... born in 1925, she never married or had kids, she drove when few of her peers did, she always worked and she travelled all over the world on her own. In her old age she still took regular trips in the UK, kept her house and garden meticulously tidy (she used to move the washing machine to clean behind it?!?) She had time for everyone and had so many friends (most of whom she outlived) She taught me how to play cards (for money) as a youngster, indulged my love of humbugs, and spoilt me rotten! I spent a lot of time with her over the years and she will be missed. Her favourite tea was Yorkshire Gold blend, but she only ever had it as a yearly Christmas treat. It's not Christmas but, in memory of my Auntie Madge...
