At the Norfolk Fender Retreat, each day starts with a structured routine, reflecting the event's emphasis on discipline and order.
This is the tenth year of the Retreat, and I'm here with poodle and rabbit.
Breakfast is served between 9 and 10 AM, but the preparations start much earlier. The servants wake up before dawn to ensure everything is ready. The kitchen is prepared with precision, and the dining table is set to exacting standards.
One servant is designated to take breakfast orders. They go to each lady individually, asking for her preferences. This task is done quietly and efficiently, ensuring that each woman’s wishes are noted.
While we sit at the table, another servant remains in the room, ready to serve drinks or bring additional food items. Male servants, like poodle, are not allowed to eat with us. However, female servants, such as rabbit and Ava from Medicine servabt girl, have certain privileges. They are allowed to sit at the table, even though they are still in a submissive role. The distinction in treatment highlights the nuanced hierarchy at the retreat.
This routine sets the tone for the day, reinforcing the strict protocols that define the Norfolk Fender Retreat.
