But because trees in Portugal only grow to a certain width (*hard, but not girthy*) the widest boards you can buy anywhere are usually only about 14”. I’m sure fancy furniture designers and architects with import licenses can locate all kinds of thick/long/girthy wood, but I’m just a lowly woodworking hobbyist and this weekend’s project: 1) SMALL ENTRY WAY TABLE 2) LONG SOFA TABLE 🪚🪚🪚
