Growing up, I had some unusual idols. Most guys want to emulate their favourite football player, favourite wrestler or favourite racing driver. But me? No, I idolised hairy, muscular men, the kind of men that could only be found in gay porn. Although I’m still a long way from achieving the majesty of Kings like Carl Hardwick, Pete Kuzak or Tom Katt, I am beginning to feel more and more at home in my hyper-masculinised body. To give an example, I’ve tried growing out my body hair on several occasions. But each time, I felt embarrassed at the gym and quickly reverted back to the safety/familiarity of shaving. Instead of being perceived as a hulking, great mass of testosterone-soaked malehood, I felt like a skinny little b0y who forgot to shave. I no longer feel that way. The increasingly wide, increasingly hairy back you see in this picture has proudly been on display every single day at the gym 🦍🦍🦍
