The weeks ahead will be a challenge for her, but I’m here to take care of her every step of the way. Years ago, I was trapped in an extremely abusive relationship, which was increasingly violent and would have ultimately resulted in my demise. When I found Betsey, I realized how badly she needed to be loved, and I knew I couldn’t risk exposing her to such a dangerous partner.
