Most of us these days are living in a safe environment. We don't have to deal with life threatening situations as we did a thousand years ago.ย But even in our safety, many of us still live in a constant state of fear. Not the physical fear. More of a low grade psychological fear. A world of "what if" scenarios relentlessly racing through our minds.ย In our evolution as human beings, we have replace our physical fears with a new form that has its roots in our busy minds. ย It's often based on imaginary events that are no means certain. Yet, we react to them as if they were set in stone.ย That leads to a constant stress that can slowly kill you. And at the end of the day, most of those events won't even have happened. In those moments, I try to remember. Inhale. Exhale. 2 simple words.
