Added 2020-03-27 07:20:00 +0000 UTCWinter is coming, and I'm not ready 🙃❄️☃️ It's time to get my warm blankets out of storage, time to wheel my little portable heater next to my bed, maybe order some snow-grade thermals online and boy oh boy I wish I knew where my electric blanket was! These photos were taken during winter in Queensland, so even though the edit was done to make them look cool toned... it was actually warm enough for me to wear this outfit without shivering! Honestly, after all this madness settles down, when it's safe (and I mean really safe) to move around again, I'm going to plan an extended trip up north. The highest point in Australia (or the world, actually), I've ever been was Yeppoon! (I can feel my fellow QLD'ers having a laugh, I know that's really low down when you see how huge QLD actually is on the map...) As much as Melbourne has always been my home, in Queensland; I was a different person. In winter down here, I literally hibernate, shake, and ache. (fuck yeah for accidental rhyming!) I'm super interested to see how I cope this year here. And if it's shit, I'm going to have this extended trip to look forward to... I have no idea where I'll go, what I'll do, or how I'll fund it.
