I’ve struggled with issues with my ovaries/uterus my entire life. That’s why I’m on the IUD. I have had one for the past six years. It’s expiring currently and since it’s expiring it’s weakening and causing me to have period like symptoms. Which have always hospitalized me in the past. (Again this is why I got the IUD it prevents awful period symptoms) typically I don’t have a period at all, which is why I don’t need to take a week off every month to deal with that, but my replacement appointment isn’t until Monday and I can’t insert anything into my vagina for a week after that. I’ve been in so much pain the past two weeks, I haven’t even been able to sit at my computer desk. I should be feeling back to my normal self next week, but I’m trying really hard to stay active while I’m dealing with excruciating pain that I’m not used to.
