I think there is, and it is obvious. Attractive people tend to be more successful, have more friends and opportunities. Beauty often opens doors that might otherwise remain closed. People tend to trust and like attractive people more. Of course, this doesn't mean that inner qualities are unimportant, but you can't deny that looks play a significant role.
