An eloquent confirmation of the latter fact may be the example of Helen the Beautiful, because of which, according to legend, the Trojan War broke out. Forms and manifestations of beauty also vary. The most obvious of these is the external beauty. That is what we notice first of all in people, but also admire it with the contemplation of the masterpieces of fine and architectural art. The basis of external beauty lies in proportions and harmony, but even here everything is not so simple. One and the same face can cause completely different emotions in different people, as well as a picture, a building or a statue. The fact is that there is also a deeper understanding of beauty. For man is inner beauty, consisting in the purity of his soul, in the ability to follow moral principles and to be true to his ideals. Thus, external harmony is sometimes overshadowed by the nobility of human nature, which is of the highest value to us. The intention that the author or artist intended to put into his work also sometimes plays an important role in our perception of art. Often the creators deliberately violate the existing harmony, thus creating something new, but no less beautiful. This, for example, is what poet Vladimir Mayakovsky and painter Kazimir Malevich did in their time. In short, our perception of beauty sometimes depends on many factors. As a rule, beauty is a creation, ennobles our soul, but it causes a lot of disputes. In pursuit of an unattainable ideal people often break their destinies, depriving themselves of peace and happiness to enjoy simple things.
