The problem of human will has always troubled thinkers. Throughout its history, humanity has passed through many stages of spiritual and physical enslavement and liberation - Antiquity changed the medieval era, the Renaissance was followed by the Enlightenment. Each era decided in its own way whether man deserved to be free. But one thing has never changed: the will has never been available to all men. There have always been possessors and subordinates. Always man has depended on something - on nature, on other people, on his own perceptions of the world. Realizing the impossibility of complete physical freedom, people have sought spiritual freedom, learning how to relate to the circumstances of life. Despite the difficult political situation of the twentieth century gave mankind a unique opportunity for both physical and moral will of each individual. Slavery and serfdom finally disappeared from the world, and religion ceased to dictate one's choices in personal life. Gender inequality between women and men is increasingly reduced. The world promotes equality for people of all colors. This is something people could not have imagined two hundred years ago. Yes, we have become a hundred times freer than people have been for the last two thousand years. We can choose our education, our way of earning a living, our life partners. We can choose whether or not we want to have children. We can choose what country to live in. We can buy whatever we want. Of course, it takes work and effort, but it's possible! And one gets the impression that people are a little confused by this will. Because the choice is so wide now, it's hard to know what you really need. And for that someone wants everything at once, and another wants nothing. Some become slaves to fashion, some become slaves to money, to entertainment. And with the proliferation of the Internet, we all look at each other, looking to others for answers to questions that only we can answer for ourselves. We compare ourselves to other people, completely different from us, and want to have what they have. And then we are unhappy, because it doesn't really suit us at all. This is how, in the age of the material and physical will, it turns out that the real will is the inner will. Real will is loyalty to oneself, the ability to think critically, to assess situations and one's own strengths adequately, to be able to set the right goals and work to achieve them. Will is the inner independence from the opinions of others, the ability to listen to your heart. And with this plus physical freedom you can live a full, meaningful life.🖤🙌✨🙄😏❤️
